I’m a behavioral scientist and nosework nerd. I teach practical detection and coach dog industry professionals on pedagogy, curriculum design, and human behavior in the context of dog training.
Outside of my work with dogs, I’m a consulting behavioral scientist specializing in research and product/service plan development that accounts for how people actually behave.
I have a BA in Behavioral Science and Human-Computer Interaction from Hampshire College. My thesis work focuses on how research gets done in academia compared to industry, and how human factors impact the creation of knowledge.
I have previously worked as a Product Designer, UX Designer, and Researcher in the tech industry, primarily for early-stage startups, but also consulting firms and tech giants like Microsoft.
